Located on the Son Tra peninsula overlooking the East Sea, Linh Ung Pagoda is well-known as the special wonder of Da Nang, typically the statue of Buddha Vietnam. For that reason, Linh Ung Pagoda is considered as Buddha land in the middle of the world. The pagoda is located on Bai Binh peninsula, Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang, surrounded by Cu Lao Cham Island, Hai Van Pass, and Han River.

Linh-Ung-Pagoda

Linh Ung Pagoda was built in July 2004 and inaugurated on July 30, 2010. The pagoda is 693 meters above sea level, with an area of 20 hectares, with two sides looking to different types of terrains, on one side of the mountain, and one side of the sea. After climbing on the path leading to the Linh Ung pagoda, step through the main gate, right at the entrance to the main hall, in the center of the large courtyard with rows of beautiful bonsai statues, on the right is Quan Am, and on the left is the Tam Tang Phat, the four Long Ho Phap and 18 La Han are arranged two lines to protect the main gate. On the left is a statue of Quan Am with a height of 67m, the 35m diameter lotus tower is considered the highest status in Vietnam.

Linh-Ung-Pagoda

At the foot of the lotus statue is always attracted a large number of visitors to enjoy the unique beauty of statuses in here. In the heart of the statue, there are 17 floors, each floor has an altar, total of 21 Buddha statues with different shapes, and facial expressions. The statue stands back to the mountains, facing the sea, which create the majestic beauty from the sea to the Linh Ung Pagoda. The scene of the main gate combined with the statue of Buddha creates a panoramic and angle picture to immerse in nature for tourists. From the pagoda to the sea, Linh Ung pagoda will be surrounded by a blue sky, white sand running through the foot of the mountain glistening under the sun of the Son Tra peninsula.
