Mekong Eyes Cruise – The symbol of Luck.
Mekong Eyes was built based on traditional rice barges with the finest quality wood, and artfully decorated by skilled craftsmen of the Mekong Delta. It possesses 15 Cabins, which can accommodate up to 30 guests. All cabins are fully equipped with standard facilities and amenities in order to provide the most comfort stay for travellers. Each cabin is designed with big windows to insulate against windy climate and noisy sound. Thanks to an utterly caring crew, travelers will enjoy a high quality service for the whole journey.
Cruise Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be
09.00 or 9:30 Pick-up at the hotel in Sai Gon (district 1 and parts of district 3)

11.30 Boarding of the cruise vessel and check-in. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cozy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong Delta people.
In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through a village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.
Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape of the Mekong river. The cruise boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner. You stay overnight on board on your compfortable river cruiser.

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market
Wake up well rested to the sound of the river and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. At 6.30h the cruise vessel sets off for a sunrise cruise. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards while enjoying an early breakfast.
After breakfast, we will board a sampan boat to Cai Rang floating market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. After the excursion to the market it is time to start the journey back to Saigon. From Can Tho we travel by road back to Saigon. In My Tho you say good by to the Mekong Delta with a lunch break offering typical Mekong Delta dishes at Mekong Rest Stop.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Saigon and take you to Cai Be. You board your wooden river cruise vessel around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.

Day 2: Life on the water and floating markets – transfer to Chau Doc Hotel
Wake up well rested to the sound of the Mekong river and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. At 6.30h the cruise vessel sets off for a sunrise cruise. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards while enjoying an early breakfast.
After breakfast, we will board a sampan boat to Cai Rang Floating Market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. We will also visit some of the local candy and cake making factories or boat through the green water landscape to see local houses, verdant orchards and ship-building yards.
Disembark the boat at around 11.00 — 11.30h on the pier and enjoy lunch in the Ancient Anh Kiet House or brunch on board. Sit back in the shuttle (bus or car) and watch the water landscape from a land perspective until you reach Chau Doc where we bring you to your hotel. Depending on your budget you can choose the famous colonial-style Victoria hotel (superior room) or a family managed local 2-star hotel.

Day 3: Across the border towards Cambodia
We transfer you to the pier where you embark the speed boat for an exciting ride to Phnom Penh, your starting point for discovering Cambodia and the famous temples of Angkor Wat.
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel for check-in or dropping off your luggage (Early check-in is NOT included & subject to hotel’s availability). set out on a city tour to visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom; Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles and located within the Royal Palace compound, National Museum, and visit Toul Sleng Museum, a reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Day 4: Phnom Penh City Tour
Start your to the Wat Phnom, is the most significant of all the temples in Phnom Penh. This effect is a sanctuary founded by Daun Penh (Grandma Penh), a wealthy window who in 1372. The 27 meters high man-made hill became as Wat Phnom Daun Penh. Then continue to visit the National Museum. This is one of Phnom Penh’s true architectural gems. It house more than 14,000 items; the World’s largest collection of Khmer Art, including sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and ethnographic objects dating from prehistoric times to periods before, during and after the Khmer Empire. The next is Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the royal abode of the King of Cambodia. We go for lunch at Friends Restaurant
Afternoon, visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Then continue tothe notorious Killing Fields “Choeung Ek” 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of who first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979)

Day 5: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for a short flight to Siem Reap (45 minutes on board). Upon arrival Siem Reap, meet with our tour guide and transfer directly to visit the World Heritage Site; first stop visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King & Ta Prom. Enjoy romantic sunset from Bakheng Hill

Day 6: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Banteay Srei
Continue your visit to the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. In the afternoon, we drive to visit the famous Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women), 35 km from town. On the way back stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life. Last stop you will view sunset at Pre Rup temple before return to hotel and overnight

The boat continue cruising. Enjoy breakfast on board. After breakfast, excursion on rowing sampan, exploring small canals of Tan Phong Island, visit coconut candy producing family. Bicycle ride on back roads or walk in a small village along the canals. Mid day, back on board, cruise towards Sa Dec and lunch on board. On arrival, visit of ancient traders’ villa and pagoda in Sa Dec. Then, return to the boat for refreshment and to enjoy the sunset on deck. Dinner on board, night on board near Cao Lanh.

Day 3: Cao Lanh – Tan Chau
After breakfast on board, excursion to Tan Thuan Dong islet; walk in or bicycle trip around islet. Have lunch on board while cruising towards En islet. Late afternoon, sunset cocktail party. Dinner on board, night on board near Tan Chau.

Day 4: Tan Chau – Phnom Penh
After break fast on board, check out of cabin. Continue denaturing to Phnom Penh by speedboat. Arrival at Sisowath Quay International Port in Phnom Penh. In the afternoon, join city tour in Phnom Penh, visit significant landmarks of the city: Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Day 5: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
Have breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Pick up at the airport and drive to hotel. Rest of the day, free time to explore the town on your own, enjoy street food, drink in Pub Street, relax with foot massage or do shopping.

Day 6: Siem Reap
Morning, visit to jungle temple Ta Prohm, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Begin tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon, explore Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Last but not least, view a wonderful sunset from Angkor Wat or somewhere possible.
In the evening, enjoy dinner with Khmer Traditional Dance Show.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Kampong Phluk – Siem Reap
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to visit Kampong Phluk Floating Village, located at 16 km at north-south of Siem Reap. Visiting a floating village of Kampong Phluk is certainly a unique experience that exposes you to the hardships and tribulations facing the locals on a day to day basis. On arrival, take a traditional wooden boat going along the lake to visit the floating villages. After exploring the villages, transfer back to hotel in Siem Reap.
