Ba Dinh Square is the largest square in Vietnam, located on Hung Vuong Street and in front of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Ba Dinh Square has a 320m in length and 100m in width, with 240 squares of grass, intermingled with a 1.4m wide walkway. Between the square is a flagpole 25m in height. This is the place where parades take place on the occasion of the great holidays of Vietnam, and also a place for people enjoying sightseeing, and talking to each other.
In particular, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the central architecture of the square. Every day, thousands of tourists line up to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, especially being more crowded during the National Day. Mausoleum is open from 7:30 to 10:30 am except Mondays and Fridays. In Winter and Weekend, opening times can vary.
