The UXO information center will provide useful information as well as the active reality of the destruction that the Lao people had to overcome in the Second Indochina War. UXO information center is quite similar to another center in Phonsavan. The UXO information center is situated behind the Chao Anouvong Monument. It takes about 12 minutes walk from the city center.

Visting the UXO information center, you will have a panoramic view of the losses, pain in the war; as well as a difficult period of the Lao people. From 1964 to 1973, the US has dropped about half a million bombs and more than 270 million bombies. Consequently, about 50.000 peoples have been killed, half of them are children. Up to now, Laos have been suffered from the sequence of war.
