Truc Lam Zen Monastery is 5 km far from Dalat city center, located on Phung Hoang mountain, above Tuyen Lam lake. This is not only Lam Dong’s largest monastery but also an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign visitors. The monastery is divided into four areas: the external area, the monk area, the parson of monks, and the internal area for living and teaching of Thich Thanh Tu monk. This is a unique architecture next to Tuyen Lam Lake. Going up from Tuyen Lam Lake is a sloping road with 140 stone steps, and the two sides are soaring through the three gate to the entrance. The main area is 192m2 for worship bearing the meaning of the Buddha. In the middle of the statue of Buddha, about 2 meters in height, is the right hand holding the lotus flower named “Lien Hoa Vi Tieu”.

The main front hallway is a row of four fake wooden columns. On the right side of the main hall is a bell-shaped carved bas-relief with the very sophisticated and beautiful Buddhism. Inside is the general red rose weighed about 1.1 tons, and carved meaningful and elegance symbols of culture in here. For those who love the feeling of adventure, there are boat riding on Tuyen Lam Lake in the Dalat valley to enjoy nature with the little taste of wine, wild forest of Tay Nguyen and witness the evening in a quiet space of Da Lat.
