Thien Cung Grotto has opened officially to visitors since May 1st, 1998, situated near Dau Go Cave, in the south west of Ha Long Bay. This is one of the most popular natural caves in Ha Long Bay. However, in order to preserve the natural beauty, this cave has been restored and rebuilt several times by the local authorities in Ha Long. A staircase system was built along the corridor both inside and outside the cave for easy access. Besides, lighting system and unique color combination also make Thien Cung more impressive with shimmering colors … Thien Cung Grotto is a work of nature for humanity, a museum of natural art created through the ups and downs. Visiting Thien Cung, visitors feel like they are lost in the virtual world of thousands of fairy tales, with the beauty beyond the human merit and imagination.
The two sides of the road coming to Thien Cung Grotto are covered with trees and cliffs, which will make you feel more excited when coming here. Thien Cung Grotto has a complicated three-compartment structure. The first is a roll arch with stalactites hanging down with many familiar images: python, turtle, fighting-cock … The center of this cave is the four pillars – a symbol of fighting with the nature. The third is a well with clear and sweet water.
Admiring Thien Cung, visitors have the opportunities to see from massive to small rocks sculpted through the hand of the Creator. On the walls and on the ceiling of the Thien Cung Grotto are paintings, bountiful colors and the abstract sculptural blocks of creation.
