1) That Ing Hang Stupa
Built in the middle of the 16th century, That Ing Hang is considered as the second pilgrimage destination after Wat Phu – Champasak in southern Laos. According to local people, the old stupa used to have a large cave. At that time, an old monk appeared in a mysterious way, daily leaning back meditation leaning on Hang tree. One day the old monk ascended into the posture sitting meditation. The monastery was erected on the monastery’s roof. Local people think that this is a sacred Buddhist land.

That Ing Hang attracts tourists to visit and travel Laos not only by the well-known spiritual but also unique architecture of the temple. The temple can be seen from above on a rectangular, four-sided brick fence. Inside the fence are four covered corridors, yellow terracotta Buddha statues arranged straight in the corridor. 2) Wat Sainyaphum

4) The Dinosaur Museum
In 1936, a French geologist, Jousé Heilman Hoffet, discovered the skeleton of a dinosaur, 15 meters long and 90 million years old in the Tang Vay village, Muong PhaLan of Savanakhet.

However, it was not until the early 1990s, with great efforts in the Lao-French collaboration, that new researchers mounted the fossil record of the area.
Despite this, the dinosaur museum in Savannakhet was still constructed for preserving the dinosaur skeleton discovered by Jousé Heilman Hoffet.
