Along with other tourist sites, Cua Van fishing village has become an integral tourist attraction of Ha Long Bay tourism. This village situated at Hung Thang commune, Ha Long city, about 20km away from the tourist pier. To get to Cua Van fishing village, you can take a boat from Ha Long Bay or you can go from Beo pier and Cat Ba to visit Lan Ha bay and then visit Cua Van fishing village.
Cua Van fishing village has been preserved and now, it includes 12 floating-houses with more than 300 households. This fishing village is surrounded by majestic limestone mountains rising from the sea. You can see the image of a large fishing village, with boats painted in bright and lively colors.
This village also has a center exhibiting typical artifacts of a life on water. This is the first floating cultural center designed for the community of fishermen built in Vietnam to preserve and conserve cultural values through traditional activities as well as some different activities.
