One of the best places to witness in the Phu Quoc forest is Tranh Stream thanks to its poetic and romantic sceneries. Tranh Stream is about 15km in length from the small slits on Ham Ninh mountain, wading under the forest and mossy rocks to create the overall beautiful picture of nature in Phu Quoc.
From the gate of Tranh Stream, stepping slowly on the trail of slices, tourists will go through the canopy of green trees and enjoy the very cool and fresh weather in here. Sometimes tourists can go through the paths of the forest with the creeping vines to take some significant adventures and blow their mind with the magical appearance of sparkling sunshine through the trees to the ground. Otherwise, from Tranh stream, tourists go about 300m to the landscapes for camping, bathing, and enjoying the beautiful waterfall for relaxation.
Tranh Stream is not large and majestic as other creatures in Phu Quoc, but slowly and peaceful falling to the stream along the smooth rocks to the island under the lush green tropical trees. Especially, the rocks are covered with mossy green grasses creating lively wildlife that challenges many adventurous travelers to conquer. Also, tourists can choose to take a rest on the rock and relax with the very sweet sounds of nature from birds, the winds, and other organisms in the forests.
If having plenty of time, after eating and resting, climbing to the head of Tranh stream at the top of the mountain is the ideal experience to discover thoroughly the beauty of this place. There are cave-shaped, and strange creature in the mountain located on the height of about 200m, and 50 m in depth that preserves many beautiful stalactites waiting tourists to explore.
