Long Khanh pagoda located in the center of Quy Nhon City, on the west side of the Thi Nai beach, in Cam Thuong village, Tuy Phuoc district, facing the Ngu ki lagoon, Long Khanh Pagoda is the large spiritual historical relic built from the 6th Gia Long King. Annually, Long Khanh Pagoda attracts a lot of tourists coming to discover the Buddhist belief and culture, and worship rules of Binh Dinh, then from there, tourists able to travel easily to different coastal scenes in Quy Nhon.
The pagoda impresses tourists with its strange architecture, being built in the shape of “Mouth” in front of the main hall including the Upper Palace and the Main Palace. The upper part of Adiđa Buddha and Mandarin Mandarin, posthumously worship Buddha Sakyamuni. Both rooms have East and West rooms specialized for monks and nuns. Especially, this architectural style wears a pagoda-like appearance of Southern Chinese residents, even not unique performance in Vietnam, but it associated with the history of the Quy Nhon formation and development until the Nguyen dynasty.
In the Long Khanh pagoda, there are ranges of valuable artifacts, like the bell, ancient facilities as the historical treasures of the pagoda. Despite the many renovations, Long Khanh pagoda is still a valuable historical-cultural relic preserving the true Buddhist culture and Binh Dinh historical value to the next generations coming here to directly learn and experience anytime.
